The Consumer Advocates for Smokefree Alternatives Association
CASAA was formed in 2009 by members of an online forum and is now 120,000 members strong. It is one of the leading vape advocacy groups in America, ran by a board of volunteers who receive no financial compensation and work tirelessly to inform the public and government about the benefits of vaping, protecting our rights to access reduced harm alternatives and raising awareness. CASAA is a non-profit organization has no financial or policy agreements with the electronic cigarette, pharmaceutical or tobacco industries.
Smoke-Free Alternatives Trade Association (SFATA)
Founded in 2011, SFATA serves as an educational and lobbying resource for manufacturers, Wholesalers, retailers, distributors, and consumers of the vaping industry. With a strict code of principals, they support public education campaigns to offer alternatives to smoking and promote industry standards to fight the public misconceptions of vaping. For a membership fee, they offer the best information for retailers, wholesalers, and have many members-only events, and inclusion in the SFATA family of companies.
NOTBlowingSmoke.org
NOTBlowingSmoke.org is currently running by Jason Downing. Camille Winans, Stephan Didak, and the “Mystery Lady” behind The Truth About Vaping video series. The group’s goals include becoming a nonprofit organization and providing up to date education materials for vapers and shops to raise awareness and reach into the non-hobbyist vaper demographic. They are working to alleviate some of the pressure from the volunteer staff from other vaping organizations through close partnerships working toward common goals.
American Vaping Association
The American Vaping Association is a nonprofit organization that advocates for small businesses in the vaping industry. They have shown dedication to educating the public and government officials about the health and financial benefits of vaping.
The Vaping Militia
The Vaping Militia works hard to create a community of vapers and businesses that support vaping. They promote local and national advocacy and assist in individual advocacy by creating tools and providing information. They have podcasts, a blog, and tons of helpful information.
